Best Poster Award at IAVSD Symposium

Members of our team recently won the Best Poster Award at the 26th IAVSD Symposium on Dynamics of Vehicles on Roads and Tracks! The symposium took place at the Lindholmen Conference Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 12-16 August 2019.

Dr Chonfeng Wei attended and presented the poster based on the research findings related to the HumanDrive project, where he, working together with colleagues in Human Factor and Safety group, developed a vehicle motion control model to make the automated vehicle’s behaviour more human-like. The aim of this approach is to provide drivers with a sense of security and motion comfort during automated driving.
