The HumanDrive project team had a stand at the Cenex-LCV 2019 at the Millbrook Proving Ground presenting the latest state of the project. Cenex-LCV is the UK’s premier low carbon vehicle event that brings together UK decision-makers, as well as industry and academic experts in a unique two-day event.

Dr. Chongfeng Wei, Evangelos Paschalidis, and Foroogh Hajiseyedjavadi showcased the contribution of the University of Leeds on this project, focusing on the improvements of the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) controllers, drivers behaviors analysis, and building an understanding of drivers preferences over different types of AVs.

Alliance Global Director VP--Nissan, Kazuhiro Doi San visited our stand and included a briefing on HumanDrive project in his presentation. Nick Blake, Hitachi Chief Innovation Strategist and Head of Big Data Labs, presented the potentials of the project in a panel session on Vehicle Automation and Connectivity. Interim Executive Chair of Innovate UK, Dr. Ian Campbell, visited the HumanDrive stand to meet the team and be briefed on the project.

Using this platform, the group communicated the details of our experimental setups and UoLDS driving simulator suite by the means of onsite video presentations, brochures, and banners.
